I know several of my cobloggers are big fans of The State. For them, I bring a Michael Ian Black sighting: a very funny McSweeney's piece called What I Would Be Thinking About If I Were Billy Joel Driving Toward a Holiday Party Where I Knew There Was Going to Be a Piano.

Comments:
Did you find this through my profile or other online entities? In any event, I recently downloaded a bunch of State episodes via bittorrent -- 24 episodes from seasons 1-3 in *very* poor quality. But I think it's the same quality/files we watched on Monica's computer so long ago at Bard. (I still have to thank her for introducing me to The State.) Let me know if you'd like a CD-R of them, or if I can send them through IM.

Anyway, "I'm outta herrrre."

Damn. I meant to credit your away message, Len, and I forgot. Thanks, though.

Are you still going to be around the Boston/RI area next year?

I'm living in RI now. Jobless and with few prospects. So no real idea what I'll be doing in the near future, heh.

more writings from black are here.

i still love the state. and those bastards have a new show on after Reno 911 these days. if i only got cable... and you're welcome, l-train.
